The series revolves around a Gujarati businessman named Anuj (Sharman Joshi), who is married to a Marathi girl Gauravi (Asha Negi). However, in the latest season, the two appear to be experiencing the bitter side of a relationship. Jealousy, doubt and lack of understanding creep between the couple. After a traumatic event, Anuj vows that he will never face a shortage of money and will work harder than ever to earn money.
This causes them to spend more and more time separately. While Anuj is able to provide Gaurav a luxurious lifestyle, he is unable to give her emotional support. Due to this, another man enters their life. Anuj seems to be insecure and suspicious all the time. As the story unfolds, the two are seen moving to file for divorce.
Sharman Joshi’s performance in the series is commendable. From an innocent loving husband to an angry suspect, she is a treat to watch. Asha Negi has also done justice to her character. The story is well written.

There were many things in the series that did not work well. The subplots were weak and the supporting characters were not well rounded. Also, for an OTT format, the show seems like a daily soap fit for television viewers. Many scenes are long drawn with lots of cliche ideas, including ‘the female character won’t say a word when there is injustice’, ‘the husband is jealous if the male friend is feeding the cake to the wife’ and the aged girl. One was the gold digger trope. The makers of the show gave a lot of twists and turns and tried unsuccessfully to keep the audience on screen, but after a period the series became very predictable.
