The racks raj-directed film Tadka, which is a remake of the Malayalam hit film Salt N Paper, has gone into legal trouble. Produced by Zee Studios, the film stars Nana Patekar, Shriya Saran, Ali Fazal and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles.
The Bombay High Court on Monday (4 February) called Prakash Raj in a suit filed by Essel Vision Productions Ltd, a company run by producer Zee Studio.
Zee Studios approached the Bombay High Court on 25 January, seeking to implement a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the company and Sameer Dixit, Jatish Verma, who is a partner in a production house called Movie Makers, in the acquisition business And exploitation of copyright in motion pictures.
